Skipper :
Skipper during cruises in the bay of the river Seine, between Havre, Deauville and Ouistreham, I started skipping habitables with friends between 1981 and 1985,I learnt and enjoyed my job on boats of ASPTT le Havre.
During my career as a sailing instructor, thus, I sailed with a sailing school Capestère in Guadeloupe to mari-galante and Saintes islands.
In 2003, I took part in the “Middle sea race” and I delivery the sailing boat “Mr Fip’s” (55′ classical spirit) there and back.
Between 2003 and 2009 I was in charge of various saililng boats of différent sizes, for instance during other delivery between Greiswald (Baltic Sea) and St Malo (France), 3 transatlantic, between Loctudy (France) and Bonifaccio (Corsica), etc…
Crew member of regate :
I started sailing in competition on the yacht “All good” (a Sprint 108) during the “Cowes Week 1992″, where we finished second of our class.
Then, I took part in many regattas between 1992 and 1997 in upper Normandy, with various ships from 8 to 10 meters, in races for the bay of the river seine championship and National handicap.
After getting my professional instructor diploma, I took part in many régattas on sixty feet open, such as “Grand Prix de Fécamp monocoque” during which Claude lelouch shot pictures for the film “And now ladies and gentlemen”, talking about cinéma, I appear in a commerciale for “Rénatiole” in brest with the sailing boat “Le Havre 2000″, wich I prepared afterwards for “la Route du Rhum 1998.”
In the West Indies, I competed on the sailing boat “Florys” (a 50′ open) in the race “la semaine d’Antigua 2002.”
Then, I started sailing on “spirit of classic” and “classical” boats from 2002 and 2007:
“Semaine de Porquerolles 2002″ on the “classical spirit” sailing boat 55′ “Mr Fips”.
“Rolex Cup of St. Tropez 2003″ and “Giraglia 2003″ on the “classical spirit” sailing boat 55′.”Mr Fips”.
“Les voiles de St Tropez 2003 and 2004″ on the “classical spirit” sailing boat 55′ “Mr Fips”.
“Les voiles de St Tropez 2005 and 2006″ on 1930 classical sailing boat “Eilidh”.
“Les régates royales de cannes 2006″ on the 1947 classical sailing boat “Keep Trust”.
“Semaine classique la belle classe de Monaco 2007″ on the 1947 classical sailing boat.”Goldenbrowne”.
“Semaine classique d’Argentario 2007″ on the 1947 classical sailing boat “Goldenbrowne”

Mean while, to remain familiar to modern sailing boat, I took part in some regattas organized by “RORC” (Royal Ocean Racing Club) on the boat “Foggy Dew”, a JPK 9.60:
“De Guingand Bowl race 2006″ (Cowes-Dieppe) winner of our class in IRC 2.
“Cowes – Cherbourg” winner of our class in IRC 2.
“Cervantes Trophy” (Cowes-Ouistreham) after abandoning equipment breakage.
“Fasnet Race 2007″ winner of our class in IRC 2.
“Cowes – la Rochelle” winner of all class and our class in IRC 2.
“Middle sea race 2008″ 10 th of all class.
Technical preparer :
During my navigations, I took part in several campaigns of preparation. My experience as a préparer allowed me to have an other vision of sailing, as much in the point of view of préparation as repairing and maintenance of a sail boat.
In 1998, I took part in the seven-month campaign of preparation for the Route du Rhum 1998 for Mr Eric Dumont’s sail boat “le Havre 2000″, a sixty feet open. This boat, a former “baggage supérieur” belonging to Mr Alain Gautier, has been entirely transformed into sloop and completely repainted after the “1997 Vendée Globe”.
In 2004, during the “Tour de France à la Voile”, I prépared Mr Vincent Portugal’s “Belvedere Copains à board”, a Mumm 30. The job consisted in preparing the boat before the competition, then, at the halting places in solving all the problems that occurred during the navigation and finding améliorations required by the compétitors.
In 2006, I did another preparation for the “Tour de France à la Voile” for Mr. Sylvain Chtounder’s sailing boat “île Maurice Naïade resort “, a Mumm 30. This job, the same as in 2004, allowed to win in the “Amateur” category.
Sailing instructor :
After beeing a pupil in a sailing school for years, it seemed natural forme to transmit my knowledge in becoming a teacher and an éducator.
After getting my diplomas of fédéral instructor, i gave lessons at the ASPTT sailing school in Le Havre during the holidays. I taught on board of “Optimist” and sport catamarans.
In 1996, i had lessons at the training center to get a state certificate as a sports sailing that I optenu as a sport sailing instructor.
In 1997, i worked at the sailing club in the city of étretat (voiles et galets d’étretat), where i was in charge of the base and gave lessons on “Optimists” and sports Catamarans.
From 1998 to 2000 I was in charge of the base at the “Société des Régates du Havre”, then at the “Sport Nautique du Havre”, the ASPTT le Havre, where I gave lessons on Double drifter, one man drifter, sport catamaran and sport habitable such as Class8 and J80.
From 2000 to 2002, in my first sailing club, ASPTT le Havre, I was sailing instructeur and coach on sport catamarans and Class 8, and tutor of a sport sailing instructeur.
In 2002, I went to the West Indies in Guadeloupe to a sailing club in Goyaveor, to a sailing club in Goyave, to teach and coach on “Optimist” and sport catamaran. At the same time, i did cruises on an habitable (Jod 35) in the north of the west indies.
In 2003, i became a base director for the hiring and teaching on sport catamarans and windsurf boards in a hotel club Jet tours, in Nianing, in Sénégal.
To complete my job as a sailing teacher, I am also an instructor for the boating licences (coastal and océan navigation) And finally sailing instructor during the training navigation of the captains 200 sails.
